About the Course

In this experimental primitive printing class you will learn about various printing techniques. They are all fast and easy relying more on the application of the paint then the complexity of your print. The techniques are easy to learn fun and immediate with no complex or expensive tools.
This class is appropriate for all levels of artist from someone who has never painted before up to professional artists. The lessons rely on experimentation and expression to yield there best results. Jesse takes you through the process from start to finish creating 13 individual paintings using mono printing techniques, ez carve printing, a variety of over printing and combined techniques, as well as techniques to mimic refine and interact with the prints to create finished works,
This class combines and augments perfectly with all my other classes. The motivation behind all of my ideas is to find something new within my work. I look for ways to encourage finding inspiration from the process of painting rather than planning a final outcome. Its about techniques that antagonize you to move forward and finding your way as you go. Arriving at outcomes rather than preconceiving them.
